S. Raye Mitchell was recently interviewed on the
national radio program, "America's Premier Lawyers."
The interview, "When Does Race and Gender Matter
in Litigating Intellectual Property, Advertising/Marketing Entertainment
Law Cases," and will air during a number of national
programs beginning in February, 2007. It will also be broadcast
on Sky Radio, which provides "in flight" information
and entertainment for numerous airlines.

Oakland / East bay – Attorney S. Raye Mitchell, an African American
woman and Harvard Law School graduate, nominated for the Global
Award “The Top 50 Women to Watch”, by the Wall Street Journal, launched
the ‘THE MITCHELL LAW GROUP PC 2006 LEGACY AWARD’
recognizing leaders in prominent community and business leadership
rolls, announced a community based Fine Art Appreciation Contest
and second book “Visioning Realities: Overlooked Stories” on Friday,
June 23, 2006, at the Thelma Harris Art Gallery in Oakland, Ca.
The publication combines Ms. Mitchell’s original writings with the
exclusive limited editions of new Art works of Charly ‘Carlos’ Palmer
and inspirational quotes from African American leaders. “We see
this as a multi-purpose project. By promoting awareness of the arts,
we make a contribution to promoting literacy, cultural development
and building self esteem of African American youth. The contest
will help supplement the arts programs which may not be funded in
the public schools.” Said Mitchell. Mitchell as an attorney, business
consultant, motivational speaker, executive trainer and an expressive
writer -- brings a litany of valuable life learning’s to her profession.
“The program also spotlights to the legal profession the importance
of building diversity in the legal profession. We are able to demonstrate
